Féerie is built on a simple principle: your reading life is personal. We collect only what we need to make the app work, we never sell your data, and we never show you ads.
Who we are
Féerie is developed by Craftbyte SRL, Romania. For any privacy questions, reach us at admin@craftbyte.io.
What we store and why
- EPUB files stay on your device — they are never uploaded to our servers.
- Reading metadata (progress, highlights, notes, shelves) syncs with Firebase Firestore, tied to your user ID only.
- Your email address is stored via Firebase Authentication to manage your account.
- Anonymous crash reports are collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.
- Basic usage analytics (screens visited, features used) are collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the app. No personal identifiers are attached.
What we never do
- We never sell your data to anyone.
- We never show you ads, and we never share your data with advertisers.
- We never read your books, highlights, or notes.
- We never upload your EPUB files to any server.
Third-party services
Féerie uses the following Google Firebase services, each governed by Google's Privacy Policy:

- Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting
Data retention
Your data is kept for as long as you have an active Féerie account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request a copy of your data or ask any questions, contact us at admin@craftbyte.io.
